- Manage end-to-end billing processes including charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through meticulous account reconciliation and documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation compliance
- Generate monthly revenue reports and identify process improvement opportunities
- Handle patient billing inquiries with empathy and resolution-focused communication
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific regulatory requirements
- Maintain clean accounts receivable through systematic follow-up and denial management
- Train staff on billing protocols and system updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Expertise in Epic, Medisoft, or comparable billing platforms
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Proven track record in reducing AR days and denial rates
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
