Responsibilities
- Process complex transactions including deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and loan payments
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with empathy and efficiency
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for banking products and services
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and daily transaction records
- Adhere to strict compliance regulations and security protocols
- Train and mentor junior tellers on operational procedures
- Support branch operations during peak hours and special events
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling or banking experience
- Proven customer service excellence in high-volume settings
- Strong mathematical accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- BA/BS in Finance or related field preferred
- Notary certification highly desirable
