Responsibilities
- Process complex transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive financial product recommendations
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalated issues with empathy and professionalism
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions with strict adherence to compliance standards
- Train and mentor junior tellers on operational procedures and customer service excellence
- Conduct preliminary account reviews and support new client onboarding processes
- Collaborate with branch managers to identify cross-selling opportunities for banking services
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in financial services
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals in a customer-facing role
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation E, BSA, AML)
- Advanced proficiency in core banking software and MS Office applications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts simply
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Associate's degree in Business or Finance preferred; equivalent experience accepted
- Must pass background check and obtain required banking certifications
