Responsibilities
- Process high-volume transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments) with 99.9% accuracy
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for banking products and services
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to branch manager
- Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations and security protocols
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions
- Train and mentor junior tellers on operational procedures
- Participate in branch promotions and community outreach events
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in financial services
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and service metrics
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Reg CC, Reg E, BSA)
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse clientele
- Proficiency in core banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- Valid California driver's license for potential branch visits
