Responsibilities
- Process high-volume financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 99.9% accuracy
- Deliver personalized customer service by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate products/services
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations (Reg CC, BSA, AML) and internal security protocols
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and disputes with diplomacy and problem-solving expertise
- Support branch operations through cash management, vault balancing, and end-of-day reconciliation
- Collaborate with commercial banking partners to identify cross-sell opportunities for business clients
- Train new tellers on systems, procedures, and customer service standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in a financial services environment
- Proven track record in exceeding customer satisfaction metrics
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Reg CC, EFTA, BSA) and security protocols
- Proficiency in core banking systems (e.g., Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry)
- Exceptional mathematical accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Valid GA Notary Public certification preferred
- Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred
