Responsibilities
- Process 50+ daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with 100% accuracy
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding account balances, fees, and digital banking tools
- Sell and cross-sell bank products (credit cards, loans, savings accounts) to meet monthly targets
- Maintain compliance with FINRA regulations, anti-money laundering laws, and bank security protocols
- Balance cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies daily using dual verification systems
- Train new tellers on branch procedures and customer service standards
- Participate in quarterly community outreach events to strengthen bank presence
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance preferred
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience
- Proficient with teller software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry) and MS Office Suite
- Ability to multitask in high-volume environments while maintaining composure
- Strong math aptitude with attention to detail (error rate <0.5%)
- Valid Arizona driver's license and clean background check
- Spanish bilingual certification a significant plus
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
