Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and authorization in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable workflow, including data entry and payment processing.
- Communicate proactively with vendors regarding payment status and terms.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all payable transactions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in the AP department.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Experience working in a corporate finance environment is a plus.
