Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Process invoices and ensure all documentation is accurate and filed properly.
- Support the finance team in preparing monthly financial reports.
- Perform basic data entry and maintenance of ledgers.
- Assist in preparing payroll records and tax documentation.
- Respond to general accounting inquiries from staff and vendors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior accounting experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid driver's license is not required.
