Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end/year-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee multi-entity accounting operations for VC-backed startups and established tech companies
- Develop and implement robust financial controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for high-growth organizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on M&A transactions and due diligence
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining technical excellence in GAAP and ASC standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel modeling
- Proven experience with tech industry revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
