Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes for 500+ vendors using SAP and Oracle systems
- Optimize invoice processing cycle time with 3-day turnaround targets
- Lead month-end closing activities with reconciliations and reporting
- Implement process improvements reducing payment errors by 40%
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor payment terms optimization
- Train 3 junior AP specialists on compliance and system usage
- Analyze payment trends and recommend cost-saving strategies
- Ensure SOX compliance for all AP documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience in Fortune 500 environments
- Advanced proficiency in SAP (FICO module) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) designation preferred
- Proven track record of reducing DPO by 15% or more
- Experience managing international payment processing in 15+ currencies
- Expert knowledge of SOX 404 and internal controls frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
