Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and corporate federal and state tax returns with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and address tax inquiries.
- Assist in tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize deductions.
- Utilize tax preparation software (e.g., Drake, ProSystem fx, Lacerte) to manage complex filings.
- Collaborate with senior associates and partners on high-value client accounts.
- Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or currently enrolled in the CPA exam track is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict filing deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
