Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our prestigious finance team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive finance professional to manage high-volume transactions and streamline our payment processes.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including the accurate processing of invoices, coding, and matching purchase orders.
- Reconcile vendor statements on a monthly basis and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding queries promptly.
- Ensure all payments are made in accordance with agreed payment terms and internal approval workflows.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals and prepayments.
- Maintain and update the vendor master data and general ledger accounts within SAP/Oracle.
- Conduct regular audits of AP records to ensure compliance with UK GAAP and company policies.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of 3-5 years in an Accounts Payable role within the UK finance sector.
- Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
