In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing monthly and annual reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Utilize financial software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) to streamline reporting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize budgeting and forecasting models.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in preparing financial reports and managing general ledger functions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders.
