Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting financial data to stakeholders
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
