Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Implement and maintain daily pay processing protocols for remote team members
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize invoice-to-payment cycles
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP sub-ledger
- Train team members on daily pay system operations and compliance
- Develop AP process improvements using automation tools like UiPath
- Ensure SOX compliance for all payable transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in remote environments
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Proven track record implementing daily pay solutions
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA macros and Power BI
- Experience managing AP teams of 3+ professionals
- Knowledge of Texas state tax regulations for remote workers
- Certification in Accounts Payable (APMP) or equivalent
