Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices (A/P) for accuracy and completeness in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update vendor master files, ensuring all banking and contact information is current.
- Perform detailed month-end and year-end reconciliation of AP accounts.
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and answer vendor inquiries professionally.
- Assist with the month-end close process, including accruals and adjusting entries.
- Adhere to internal controls, company policies, and GAAP guidelines.
- Utilize accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) to manage financial data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
