Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct audits and reconcile discrepancies in financial records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and federal/state financial regulations
- Lead month-end closing processes and report key financial metrics
- Maintain accurate financial databases and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience with financial audits, compliance, and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting and presentations
