Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles accurately
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client review
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems for streamlined operations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations across all financial activities
- Collaborate with CFOs and business owners to provide strategic financial insights
- Lead month-end closing processes and audit preparations
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle accounting and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance reporting and forecasting
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing financial consultations
- Proficient with accounting software integrations and API implementations
