Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable with daily pay integration for vendor/client transactions
- Conduct variance analysis and reconcile complex financial statements
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Lead cross-departmental financial audits and regulatory filings
- Develop actionable financial models for strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary accounting software suite
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record with daily pay processing systems
- Deep understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and California tax regulations
- Certified in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Dynamics
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Remote work experience with self-management capabilities
