Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Lead audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close procedures
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into insights
- Proven experience leading audits and implementing internal controls
