Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations including invoice processing, verification, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Implement and maintain internal controls for payment accuracy and fraud prevention
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize vendor payment terms
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP and support financial reporting
- Train and mentor junior AP staff on best practices and system usage
- Continuously improve AP workflows using automation tools like SAP Concur
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements in AP workflows
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for vendor and stakeholder management
- AP certification (such as CAPP) highly desirable
