Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios including AR/AP, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis with executive-level summaries
- Oversee QuickBooks implementation and optimization for new clients
- Coordinate annual tax preparation documentation with CPA partners
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Lead training sessions for junior bookkeepers using proprietary software
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for client stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or QuickBooks ProAdvisor) preferred
- Experience managing multi-state payroll and sales tax filings
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven error reduction metrics
- Strong communication skills for client relationship management
- Proficiency with cloud-based accounting platforms like Xero
