Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks with precision and speed.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and ensure all tax filings are completed accurately.
- Bookkeeping Systems: Utilize QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage to maintain up-to-date ledgers.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes adhere to federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
