Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and credit card audits to maintain fiscal integrity.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and variance analysis for management reporting.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns; coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is highly preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
