Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice verification, coding, and processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with proactive communication
- Analyze payment trends and implement process improvements using ERP systems
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury teams on payment strategies
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and payment documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in mid-to-large organizations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with high-volume payment processing (10k+ invoices/month)
- SOX compliance knowledge and internal audit experience
- Professional certification (CPA/CMA) preferred
