Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, with a focus on variance analysis.
- Oversee the monthly and year-end closing processes, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurate and properly documented.
- Prepare budget forecasts and assist in the development of long-term financial plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred or a willingness to obtain it.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
