Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are posted correctly.
- Prepare and process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for employees in NC and OH.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports in compliance with company policy.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports.
- Collaborate with the external audit team to provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
