You will manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accuracy in record-keeping, and provide insightful financial reporting. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements.
- Prepare and send invoices, track payments, and maintain accurate client billing records.
- Assist with tax preparation filings and ensure all necessary documentation is organized.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
