Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury teams on payment terms optimization
- Prepare weekly/monthly AP reports for financial analysis
- Maintain organized digital and physical documentation for audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in mid-size enterprises
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state vendor payment processing
