The Role
As our Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will handle complex financial reporting, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide strategic insights to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card balances, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure timely submission.
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote work environment.
