Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume accounts payable and receivable transactions with extreme precision and attention to detail.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts weekly to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Process and post journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals for the closing period.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and process invoices in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
