Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor reconciliations
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial compliance and fraud prevention
- Optimize payment cycles using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and automate workflows for efficiency
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve vendor terms
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting requirements
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance accounts payable operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage high-volume payment cycles with 99%+ accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with experience in process automation initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills for vendor and stakeholder management
