Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reports
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Optimize payment cycles using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on vendor terms and discounts
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Analyze aging reports and implement strategies to improve DPO
- Mentor junior AP staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- SAP or Oracle ERP system expertise
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
