Responsibilities
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and month-end closing processes
- Process high-volume accounts payable/receivable with 99.8% accuracy
- Prepare detailed financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Coordinate audits and maintain compliance with GAAP/SOX regulations
- Lead cross-departmental financial projects using advanced Excel functions
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated success with month-end closing and reconciliation cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
