Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy
- Reconcile complex GL accounts and prepare month-end closing reports
- Analyze financial discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
- Optimize financial workflows using automation tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or 5+ years equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel macros
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
