Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to evaluate loan applications
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for portfolio review
- Monitor existing accounts for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting credit policies
- Present findings to credit committees with clear recommendations
- Contribute to process improvements for credit analysis workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of credit analysis or commercial underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit risk frameworks
- Certification (CRCM, CMB, or similar) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
