Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end close processes and ensure GAAP compliance across 50+ client accounts
- Lead financial statement preparation and variance analysis for C-suite executives
- Implement process improvements reducing reconciliation time by 30%
- Manage audit coordination with external firms and regulatory bodies
- Develop and maintain internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary financial modeling software
- Analyze operational KPIs and provide strategic financial recommendations
- Coordinate cross-departmental budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls frameworks
- Proven track record of process optimization in finance operations
