Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support the audit process by gathering and organizing financial documentation and data.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
- Maintain and update financial databases and records with high attention to detail.
- Assist in tax preparation and compliance documentation under supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree with graduation date within 6 months).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
