Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with tax team for quarterly filings and year-end reports
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting workflows
- Mentor junior accounting staff using advanced Excel/QuickBooks
- Present financial insights to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + 5+ years experience
- CPA certification or active CPA candidate
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA/macros)
- Solid understanding of CA tax regulations and compliance
- Proven experience with multi-state entity reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
