Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 100+ clients
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive decision-making
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA skills
- Proven expertise in financial reporting and tax preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder interactions
