Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 small to mid-sized businesses
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate annual tax filings and quarterly compliance reviews
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and Excel automation
- Lead month-end close procedures with reconciliation accuracy
- Provide financial consulting to clients on cash flow optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 4+ years of public accounting experience in Tucson market
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong GAAP compliance and tax preparation knowledge
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Excellent analytical and client communication skills
- Active Arizona CPA license or CPA candidate
