Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with strict adherence to GAAP standards
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely vendor/client payments
- Oversee payroll processing for 50+ employees with bi-weekly distribution
- Conduct comprehensive account reconciliations for multi-entity portfolios
- Develop and implement budget forecasting models for departmental planning
- Collaborate with auditors during annual compliance reviews
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Lead month-end closing processes with zero-tolerance for discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of CA tax regulations and payroll compliance
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage 100 or NetSuite a plus)
