Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconcile multi-entity accounts
- Develop tax strategies and manage federal/state tax filings for diverse client portfolios
- Implement process improvements using advanced ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior staff and conduct internal control audits
- Present financial insights to executive stakeholders and board committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Expertise in financial modeling and variance analysis
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Texas CPA license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Strong knowledge of Texas tax regulations and compliance
