Responsibilities
- Analyze complex commercial credit applications and financial statements to assess borrower risk profiles
- Develop detailed credit memos with structured risk evaluations and approval recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early identification of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current with regulatory changes (FIRREA, BSA, CFPB) and implement compliance protocols
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives to enhance credit risk frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts while maintaining personal portfolio performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, ratio analysis)
- Expertise in evaluating S&P/Moody's ratings and industry risk matrices
- Proven track record managing $50M+ loan portfolios
- Strong Excel/Power BI skills for data-driven decision making
- Series 63/99 licenses or willingness to obtain immediately
