Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy of financial records and internal controls.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor the annual budget.
- Prepare payroll reports and reconcile bank statements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
