In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our financial integrity and driving business decisions through data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of payroll records and federal/state tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the budget preparation process and provide financial forecasting to senior management.
- Maintain and update company accounting policies and internal control procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly.
