Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger accounting and full-cycle accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of tax schedules and supporting documentation for external audits.
- Monitor financial performance by tracking variances against budgets and providing actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
