Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/year-end closings and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend actionable business improvements
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal control procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead tax preparation processes and ensure adherence to federal/state tax requirements
- Maintain organized financial records using advanced accounting software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with multi-state compliance and international transactions
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities to present complex financial data clearly
- Experience managing accounting teams and developing staff training programs
