Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors via ACH, wire transfer, or check.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and organized files for all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting support.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding payment status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and expense reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
