Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure financial data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and annual audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and financial reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance (required).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail.
